Clio 172 Cup at Anglesey Coastal, 21st July 2011

My first time at Anglesey, Coastal layout. Great track with superb views, and a 2-hour downpour in the middle of the day kept it nice and interesting! Will definitely be back :-)

Try pouring fuel out of the jerry can with the can on its side with the spout upper most..stops any rush of fuel and gulg glugs....good vid\driving....

nice video, did my first track day back in June, was the GP vesion, I'm doing coastal next month, looks so much more fun. Just for interest when you were entering the corner after the pit wall to your left and then into a right hander which gear did you stay in? I was in 3rd and then dropping to second for the right hander? Do you stay in 3rd?

@V16DAF Hey - yeah I think the Coastal looks a lot better too. The corkscrew (downhill left-right before the pit entrance) is MUCH more fun than 2 straights and one hairpin. I was staying in 3rd there, I tried 2nd a few times and the car did pull out of the corner slightly better, but I think the 'time' lost in the gear change balances it out. Also if you get the line right (tempting to turn in too early!) you kinda 'fall' down the hill to the apex so it helps pick up speed.

@thetart20 Tidy, I'll try it in 3rd to see if its better, should have the rs2 fitted by then so the extra torque should work well out of corners! I hope to meet you on a trackday one day :-)

Very good video there! I ma looking at getting a 172 soon and doing some trackdays with it. Going to get a membership to cliosport shortly too.
