Should you really go down that far?
Starting Strength and Strength Anatomy
(two GREAT fitness and strength books)
Both say it is unhelpful and somtimes unsafe to go much farther than 90 degrees in a dip

I've always liked the dip. However, I pretty much had to eliminate it from my workouts due to it hurting my shoulder more than I felt it working my chest/tris.

Great video explaining the difference of how to work chest and triceps.
