You should see the home we at Texas Natural Builders are putting up made from pallets on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota!!
We are looking for volunteers to come learn light straw clay insulation and earthen plasters!!!

looks good!!! best pallet house i've seen so far..why didn't you just build it out of cob if your putting it on the walls anyways.some of the pallets looked alittle ruff from setting where you got them from.. mold spores are no joke ..you could bleach them 1 part bleach 2 parts water in a sprayer, just to be on the safe side..how much is land going for out there lets say 2 acres ?and do you have to have a permit to build that?are codes stiff there?

@1wicked2008 we wanted to make sure that we could at least finish a structure before winter hit on the REZ, pallets are very fast to put together and very strong, also we wanted to emphasize the reuse of a waste product into a home. This house was built on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, there are no codes to stop this type of building as the need for homes on the REZ is staggering!! Thank you for your reply!!

Will the hay rot?

@IndigoVibes its not hay, its straw and now as long as water doesn't penetrate the plaster
