48 Hour Real Estate School in conjunction with Texas Real Estate University has become the preferred way to complete the courses required to obtain a Texas real estate license today. More and more prospective real estate agents have realized that time is money, and spending that time in a classroom in front of an instructor is money wasted. Especially when most instructors have never held a real estate license, nor have they ever managed a real estate brokerage.

Many prospective real estate agents have finally realized that studying for, and taking a real estate exam doesn't necessarily prepare them for the real world. That's why they have chosen to bypass the old fashioned methods of the past and get their real estate license first and learn the business second.

So, if you're really looking forward to beginning a career in real estate then you have 4 choices when it comes to finishing your pre-license courses. If you have 15 college credit hours you'll most likely be required to complete an additional 210 hours of real estate courses to obtain and keep your license during your first year in the business.
Traditional Classroom Instruction

You can take the traditional classes where you sit in front of an instructor for 210 hours. However, 210 hours is only the beginning. After you factor in travel, food, time away from work, parking, gas, and baby sitters then you're probably looking at more than 300 hours and this doesn't count lost wages.
Correspondence

Well you could take the "traditional correspondence" route. Here's how it works. You order your books and pay for shipping...then you wait for them arrive.

When your books arrive you read your books from cover to cover, highlight what's important, make notes, take notes, ....just like you would in a college course. The textbook for just one course is over 1100 pages long.

You can take the chapter quizzes online but most correspondence schools require you to drive to a separate facility so you can be proctored, so they can make sure that you are you, and not somebody else, and you'd better hope you pass because if you don't, you get to start the whole process all over again.

And just like classroom, you have to factor in driving, gas, and your time.
Online Instruction

Online courses served their purpose in their day, but with the development of better technology the only positive thing that can be said about online is you can take the entire course in your birthday suit and nobody will ever know the difference.

Online is timed, so instead of 210 hours in front of an instructor you have to spend a minimum 210 hours on your computer. They have pop ups, and built in security questions....and they have forced tutorial for every time you miss a question.

On the quizzes, you have multiple choice answers. Let's say, you miss one. Then you have to listen to a tutorial that explains why you missed. There's no way around it. You have to listen to all of it!
E-Correspondence

E-Correspondence which takes all the positives of the other 3 methods and none of the negatives.

There are only a few schools that offer e-correspondence and that more and more savvy students are choosing to work with is Texas Real Estate University. Here's why: Instead of having a book mailed to you just download a PDF. No waiting, you can start immediately. No shipping costs Entire course can be taken on the computer in the privacy of your home or office 24/7. The courses are state approved and are knowledge based vs. time based. If you can complete a 30 hour equivalent course in 2 hours or less, they aren't going to penalize you. All you have to do is make a 70 or above on the final regardless of how many times you have to take it, and print out your own certificate. 24 hour tech support and a staff on hand 5 days a week to answer your questions Probably the highest pass rate of any education method

Texas Real Estate University has experienced tutors on call for your convenience. You get all answers to all the quizzes. You even have final course exam questions and answers. No travel or proctored tests required. Provide a prep exam for both the national and state section. TREU is the fastest real estate school available period.

For a limited time Texas Real Estate University in cooperation with Realty Placement and select affiliated brokers is offering free scholarship cash. For more details visit TREU today.
