@chfalcao I think the Kaoma dancers might have still been on tour to 99 countries, in fact I think Adilio mentioned that he met or danced with the kaoma dancers the first time they came to London, but ask Adilio about it. Jambe Finete, the song he is dancing to, was released by Kaoma in 1989. Braz dos Santos and Gabriella Turbiani were the first two Kaoma dancers ever recorded dancing Lambada, Danca Elegante in two videos- Mamae Afrika and Souvenirs de Fania avec Kaoma. The lovers of Zouk Lambada (LambaZouk) dance owe more to Adilio than to anyone else I can think of.
Around 1994 all Lambaterias in Brazil have closed (except Ilha dos Pescadores). Adilio Porto & Renata Peçanha and their "Spiritual" performance were the creators of this so much needed revolution of Lambada.
From this video - the only other person who continuing developed this dance was Drica Junqueira.
Parabéns Adilio, " todo mundo foi música":)
