The FAO Climate Change Days: Share and Learn Workshop took place from 21-24 June 2010 seeking to build a community of practice in FAO, connecting climate change practitioners to share project experiences in order to meet the evolving needs of countries. Good practices that have emerged from work within the organization can thereby be spread, and become part of a knowledge base for improved working practices on climate change in different settings. Knowledge sharing and networking among FAO colleagues, across sectoral and geographic boundaries are key in dealing with cross-cutting issues such as climate change. Some 35 participants from regional, subregional and country offices participated, and 70 practitioners from headquarters signed up to participate, as well as a small number of climate change professional from World Food Programme, International Fund for Agricultural Development and Bioversity.
