The Salton Sea Powered Paragliding Fly-In is an annual event which Happens in January. I drove to Salton City on Thursday and stayed through Sunday afternoon. I shot approximately 25 time-lapses to compile this video. I shot 14,000 images with my brand new Canon 5D. Editing this lapse of time into 6 minutes wasn't easy. I hope you've enjoyed watching. It must have been tough standing there and snapping a picture every 5 seconds. I would have fallen asleep after 10 minutes.

@FLsiren Thank you very much. I was shooting the sunset when I happened to notice those crazy red clouds over to my right. It was one of those moments I wish I had a camera. It is rare to actually have one on a tripod right in front of me.

AMAZING VIDEO!!!!!! You know this is the PARATOYS 2010 powered paragliding show being held at the Salton Sea not the salton sea show Right?.

OH MY GOD!!! 5 stars won't do this justice. I am absolutely speechless. You put incredible amount of time and effort into this and it came out just stunning. Truly the best Salton video we will ever see on youtube (unless you ever top yourself). Thank you for sharing and putting this out there!!!

@TheGreatMrBill Thank you for your speechless speech-filled support! Although I didn't partake as a ppg-er, I enjoyed sharing the Sea with an extremely supreme group of surrealists.
