This is a great video. The people swimming and cage diving with them are totally fortunate to have been selected to do so. Watching wild great whites who are not in "captivity" or stuck in a beach liner rope/net is truly a blessing. I have not swam with them while in a cage, however, I have been diving for my job off the coast of Long Island, N.Y. searching for hammerheads and low and behold, we saw 4 great whites swimming by and they stayed in our chum lines, feeding. We GOT OUT OF THE WATER.

Did you have a video footage of the 19 ft. Great White? It would be really great if you could post that anytime sooner or later mate!

the female with the obvious mating scars is right about 19... (going by what Mauricio, the resident Marine Biologist at Guadalupe said, I didn't measure myself ;-) she is out almost every season.. boats leave out of San Diego and Encinata Sept-Dec if you would like to see in person.

the smaller ones and possibley younger seem to be more aggressive

Typically the males are smaller than the females..and yes much more aggressive. Sharks, like people are never a sure thing, big females get aggressive too... but a good rule of thumb is that the males are quicker to bite.
