This is a documentary/experimental short I have directed in Sydney Film School Certificate 4 (First Semester), Inspired from BARAKA, I tried to captured just a day in the city (Sydney) and the rhythm of it. It is a first effort of mine to use time-lapse photography to show different rhythm of the city life. Jane has wonderfully composed a beautiful score which was more than 50 % of this film story telling. The music was so alive that it has made those pictures very lively and took it to a different level. Eventually it won the best Sound Design Award, Special mention for Best Cinematography and Audience Award for Best documentary (Session 4) in the 10th Sydney Film School Festival.
I love this film...Since I had made it it was a very personal film of mine. I haven't shared this to many people. But after almost a year of it's production I thought I should see how the Audience in the virtual world respond to it...
It is not a usual kind of documentary with characterful but I enjoy this each time I watch ...cause it reminds me all the beautiful moment me, Jason and Damien went through for finding a right place for setting up the camera, three o clock in the morning...going to catch sunrise...it really had been a very unique experience for me to explore a new country, new city and it's vibe ...by the making of this film....now I want to share my personal experience with the whole world...
Just wonderful, hats off
