WestJet doesn't look like it's struggling to me. They're adding destinations, looking for ways to expand. They're still receiving deliveries of new off-the-factory-floor 737NGs -- their newest 737-800 was delivered just a week and a half ago. Airlines that are struggling don't buy new planes, do they?

Look again -- Air Canada's currently facing bankruptcy for the THIRD time (or is it fourth?), while WestJet is consistently recording increases in profit for EVERY quarter compared to the previous year.

fyi emps generally make 13.40 a hour plus incentives for bonus. A dog could make another 3$ a hour. With a max earning of 6$ extra...Plus another incentive that works out to between 150-500 a month. Then profit share on top of that....which is much more than $50 ;)

How do I know that they make 10 bucks an hour? Because I use to be an "owner"...Now I work for 'another airline'. Last year with the other airline, I made over $2000 in profit sharing. This year, I stand to make more than $6000. When I was with Westjet, I made less than $50 in profit sharing - that was 2005, by the way. I'll stick with 'the other airline'.
