Bill Thompson, President of Thompson Pump & Manufacturing, started his pump and manufacturing company in 1970 with three employees. Known for producing heavy pumps for pumping water, wastewater and sewage, Thompson Pump & Manufacturing also does a myriad of things—including manufacturing, repair, engineer and design. Although Bill has run his business successfully for the past forty-one years, his biggest challenge remains how federal regulations affect his finances. Even when the company is successful, it can't expand due to the diversion of funds to frivolous regulations.
