It is the sixth lesson from the second year of study and is a beginning pointe ballet class containing short barre exercises followed by several center combinations and six pointe exercises. Each exercise is fully demonstrated and performed to the music on the CD. Chapter markers and subtitles are located at the beginning of each exercise creating an easy to follow interactive DVD.

Do you mean a grand jeté? a grand jeté is a leap, not a deep plié. I think you're talking about a grand plié.

@ObscuraLupa That's what I hate about my ballet class-as a percussionist, I focus on the rhythm and beats, while the girls with amazing technique look inexperienced because they don't know when to do anything.

@AGwatermelon that's suck i know how it is last I'm 19 now and i started ballet last years and it went to a point that i couldn't afford ballet classes anymore and they aren't that expensive in my dance school but i just couldn't but the oner of the school told me that she would give me a scholarship during this year and i was so glad and i hope she makes every dream of her came true because she is way to good for me :) so have hoppe.

thanks for the reply and i had a duh moment after i typed my question i noticed the link for the video..does anyone own this? is it a good video for a intermediate dancer? trained in cecchetti and RAD?

thanks danceclassmusic i so want it i loved it and would love to use it at home...is the DVD a good one? i read some comments about it and just was curious it looks good on here when i watch them but i didnt know? thanks again!
