1) Be Good, Be Careful, Be Mine - her first single, a nonhit in 1958
2) The World Of Lonely People - a 1964 hit
3) Do-Re-Mi - from The Sound Of Music, on a 1959 single
4) In Remembrance Of You - from Columbia album. A magical arrangement like Little Things Mean a Lot.

#1 was on her LP "Hear AB In Your Home Tonight".
#3 was in her first Carlton LP "Anita Bryant" #118.
Let's keep her in remembrance musically.

  • anita bryant has a powerful and beautiful voice. paper roses was a hit in my country. but i've been longing to hear her songs "a texan and a girl from mexico" and "he's not good enough for you." is there someone out there who has these songs?

  • Both those songs were on the LP Hear AB In Your Home Tonight. The Texan song is on a CD "All the Hits/ Kisses Sweeter than Wine". If there's enuf views I might post more. To buy LPs check Musicstack or Gemm-com. And help boost the star rating of the video.

  • I see it was a 1965 Columbia single. I don't know it.

I'd like to hear her Battle Hymn Of The Republic. She's supposed to be famous for that. What LP was it on?

  • The gorgeous ANITA BRYANT !

  • Anita Bryant epitomizes all that is good, all that is true and all that is beautiful in humanity. I feel in love with her when I was still in my early teens. Since then, my love for her has never been replaced. First love neve ever dies. You are the best, Anita Bryant. I love you!

  • @emycer Me and my sis had these (A Texan..., He's not good enough...) on a 45 when we were little, probably bought it from the cheap rack for a dime or so. Seems it came out in 1961... It's the 'b-side' I remember. Last heard it when I was about 10. Recall the melody, words to the chorus, bits of the verses. "The first time I feel in love..." I'd like to hear those old songs again too.

  • Excellent and miss her songs,,,RWB

  • Anita Bryant acutally worked with the Lennon Sisters, Kathy Linden, and Joni James since the 1950's and all of them worked for Anita in her Florida activites in the late 1970's.

  • Tremendous and just totally awesome songs from a very talented lady and wow!......what a great voice!

  • has anyone got "my minds playing tricks on me again " by anita ,if so please put it on,thanks pete, think it may have been on columbia ?
