Plus, I TOTALLY agree with you. Your explanation was beautiful..and I think with that alone, it shows just how beautiful you as a person. Your mind is something I would like to pick on one day. ^___^*

can it be true that we like the most different features than our own? I'm serious.
I'm not symmetrical like adrianna lima. I wish, she's hot

Symmetry plays a role. But you could be perfectly symmetrical and have some really bad features like thick ass eyebrows and massive lips.
Beauty from what I've seen is a good even jawline(something I wish I had), slim nose, defined eyebrows, somewhat of a slim face, even eyes, defined chin and lastly a good personality. Oh yeah and even teeth.

no offense but Wikipedia isnt a credible resource, i'm a college student and i'm doing a research project on this. the point of the statement isnt to say that symmetry is the ultimate beauty but that for some subconscious reason humanity tends to be more initially attracted to faces that are symmetrical, meaning that was the only characteristic to go by. people are complex and multiple reasons differ from individual to individual, but people as a whole agree that symmetry is attractive.

Ask Antonio Banderas. He doesn't seem to mind. :)

Symmetry is important for physical beauty, as in, if there's someone with an attractive face, it's most likely that they're high on the symmetrical scale, but like you and everybody said, it's also what's inside.
I agree people who have like a little ddifferent feature makes them beautiful. And personality plays a big role. you can have this symmetrical face and still be ugly becuase of your personality! :)
