Theo Willis, Associate Research Scientist at the University of Southern Maine, shot this video in the Damariscotta Mills area of Maine. Largemouth bass are eating the alewives when they reach the top of the fish ladder.
there was a school of alewives fining on muscongus bay just out of casting distance. Something 30+ inches was attacking them, not sure if a striped bass got int to the lake or if it was a laker but i tried and tried to catch it with no luck
