For more information on the research seen in this video, go to http://cenm.ag/zoom. In this clip, microrockets made of polymer and zinc zoom through acidic solutions. The rockets use the acid as fuel, converting it to hydrogen gas bubbles that propel the tiny motors forward. Researchers hope this technology might one day be used to monitor conditions in acidic environments, such as the stomach. The research was conducted by scientists at the University of California, San Diego.
