I'm afraid it will reZOOM its downward trend.
The international banksters, using the quisling politicians as front-men, will bring us to our knees so we will beg for a one-world currency.
Treason doth never prosper: whats the reason?
Why, if it prosper, none dare call it treason.

I agree with you, once 72 is broken, there will be no stopping the free fall. I find it funny that people are "feeling better" about the economy, when their money is worth less everyday.

i read somewhere today that 5 chinese banks BOUGHT usd to prop it up. Guess the chinese need more time to unload US treasury bonds. Thanks for the intelligent updates. Its appreciated!.

I agree. The dollar is a confidense game. Because of the replacement of the petro dollar, the confidense is basically gone. Only a fool would invest in our paper and we are near fresh out of fools. 2018 may be the deadline, but it sure looks like 2010 will be the actual demise
I find it amazing that the the FED is not even trying to jawbone the dollar to stem the dollars slide.

Agreed! I think they are too busy propping the equity markets since the public at large thinks that's THE indicator of the health of the economy. At least that's what CNN/FOX tells them!

all you ever see on tv is comparison of the dollar to other currencies...exactly what is the dollar indexed to...excuse my ignorance...thanks
centervilletn 2 years ago
That's just it, the dollar itself is not indexed to anything. It's all fluff and debt. I know that's not really your question, but just thought I'd throw that in!
The USDX however is used to compare the dollar to a basket of six other currencies: the euro, yen, British pound, Canadian dollar, krona and the Swiss franc.
