This is a comparison of the Ohana Tiple in "D" tuning followed by "C" tuning (the standard ukulele gCEA). I did not start the video with music because the audio samples were recorded with a TASCAM multi-track recording studio outfit and professional mixing board with studio-quality microphones. The video segments were made with the FLIP UltraHD. I used natural light, not my studio lamps-- mainly because I did not want to take the time to set up the photographic studio.
These are interesting sounds! Nice vocal too. The D tuning is nicer.

@bigrustyukuleles
It's "tip-ple" when you're talking about the North American adaptation.

Thanks for the review!
p.s. - I hope I don't sound like an annoying know-it-all, but it's pronounced tee-play.

Thank you! Why did you use a pick? Neither the Cats and Fiddle nor the Spirits of the Rhythm used plectra.I've made a compensated saddle on my old B&J tiple (T-play), which completely resolved the tuning problems. Although I stick to C-tuning on all other ukuleles, the tiple clearly sounds best in D.
