The Last Train a 1999 mini series broadcast on the ITV network. Following a random group of individuals heading to Sheffield, the series follows the survival of a mixed group of train passengers who have been accidentally cryogenically frozen. Waking up decades later, the passengers find that they are some of the last remaining humans to have survived an apocalyptic meteor strike, and are alone in the British countryside.

@celticseahorse I would probably have taken the horses, sacrificed one and made a bbq of it next to the funeral pyre if I had enough time and energy to make it. Even if using petrol and a battery to start it, you need some fuel to keep it going and I don't see firewood handy. So the story has holes, it's not exactly written by a physicist or survivalist; but it is more entertaining than a remake of a remake or worse a remake of a comic book... If only we had good tv to watch now-a-days
