Anyone seen the movie Longford ? Brilliant movie but the only thing I didn't like about it is that it showed a bit of a redeeming quality about her in the end. Which I believe was most criticize about the film, but you do get the sense of the evil in her and that this woman, along with Ian Brady, represented the evil in humans and that Longford represented the good. I wont give it away what happens at the end but to those who have seen this movie, did that scene on the bench really happen?

Yes I have , but have also seen the other 1 that came out, it was a few years ago and that was good too, it was called See No Evil

@hpkitkat Would you know by any chance if the last scene in Longford actually happen between Myra and Longford on that bench at the prision? I don't know if it was in a Biography or made up by the writer of the movie. If it happened, so be it. If it was put in for dramatic license than that's wrong. To give Myra any redeeming qualities when she didn't have any in real life would be wrong. I loved the movie but that scene always bothered me and I'm dying to know if that actually took place.

Have had a look online and from what I have read it seems that he might have met her for the last time on a prison bench, their is a book on Amazon about Longfords life, it might tell you more in there, sorry could not be of more help
