I have been looking for a project bike for a long time, then I saw your videos and fell in love. I swear, it had to be fate. the next day I found 2, I SAID 2, '70 sl350'S! both are pretty rough, but together they make a nice bike. I am gonna pick them up on Monday! I would love to talk to you some about your build, pick your brain a little.

hey, i saw your project thread somwhere while trying to find other dirtbike bobbers. ive got a 72 suzuki ts125 im fixing up and gonna try to bob out. im curious, did you put a smaller rear sprocket on your bike? im trying to find a smaller rear or bigger front sprocket so that i can increase my top speed so that im not topping out the motor on the highway.
but anyways thanks man, your bike is an inspiration for me and it looks awesome.
thanks
chris.

Thanks. I believe that the stock carbs just weren't enough for the motor which had been bored to 376cc by the previous owner so I put some Mikuni VM32's on it. I changed the pipes to the scrambler set up due to my old pipes cracking at the head. I put stiffing clutch springs in it as well. Everything else was cosmetic. Painted the rear spokes, handlebars, rebuilt and painted the front forks. Had the seat pan covered, etc.
