This was our first show of the year. This is Reno, a horse I started training this year. He did really good. We place 2nd out of 10 people. We went in 5 classes and placed 2nd in trail, 3rd in Novice Horse Walk-Trot, 1st in Novice Horse Pleasure, 2nd in Horsmanship and 3rd in Western Riding! Good Show over all!

My Paso also does good walking over tarps and is familiar with water. I taught him to back up yesterday, and today he really got the hang of it. Tomorrow I'm gonna work on lope-overs, the gate, and side passing

I've been practicing backing through an 'L', walking and jogging over ground poles and slightly raised poles, and tomorrow I'm going to put a rope over my jump stand to practice with it as a gate.

@equiniphile In our arena we set up all the obsticles that could be in a class. We have a rope gate, lope over poles that you can side pass over, a rain coat, etc. We practice it every ride!
