  • holy smokes ....i have a 2004 crown vic that im using the front suspension for and a 1998 crown vic im using the motor for....putting a 58 ford f100 apache truck on

  • @liftedJ33P Good deal! If I can help in any way let me know.

  • It is nice to see someone doing a similar project. I have a 03 f150 4x4 frame with a 4.6 Cobra mated to an automatic. The last 2 months I been removing all the wires I am not using. The body is a '59 F100. I notched the frame to fit Full length headers we custom made for it!! I am not ready to post anything on youtube just yet. Good Job!!

  • Thank you can't wait to see that truck sounds like it will be a nice one. After I do this one I would like to do one for fun instead of for work like this one.

  • Glad to hear that Good luck.

  • Sorry to hear that. If you are still in high school hang in there and find you a good automotive college to go to after you graduate. I have the same problem in my class with to many students. I need to show this to my students next time they tell me how boring my class is. God Bless!!!!!

  • I am probably about 275 to 300 miles from you. I live in the mountains of the north east part of the state in Dekalb county. I primed it and put a sealer in the crack then some under coat on it maybe I sealed it up(didn't show that part). Our body instructor dose not like to work something as old as my truck so I am on my own as far as the body work gose.

  • yep down near mobile alabama not sure which part your in but that truck would be easy to do body work be a good learning experience with the students to learn body work and how to do it right btw i noticed your floor repair did you put any seam sealer on them?reason i ask this is cause if they aint sealed good it will rust out again but thats one straight truck so body work would be easy at least to me keep up the good work take care

  • Thanks This is a low budget project. I had most of the parts that you see already except the 04 front end. I got that in Rossville GA. Also I am trying to give the students some experience on modern computers you see on todays cars and I felt the 4.6 gave me the best power to mpg balance. However I have heard of people using this front end swap with a big block like a 460. I wish I had a body guy to help me after I get it running. At least get the rust out of it . Are you in Bama now?

  • fixin to watch the rest of these vid so matbe my question will be answered but anyway the engine will be sitting very low i mean you'll be able to see eng. and trans from the outside of the truck. very good project for kids to learn from . oh yeah and have fun with the fuel lines and tank!
