I don´t know how this project is working now,but in this particular video,my suggestion would be.Create a space where the tail prop could go down and transition 90 degrees. For that purpose either you create a hollow part so it can tilt or you build a higher tower to be it´s axle.A higher propeller won´t affect the hovering stability and when you move forward, you´have more power and less problems with transitioning back to hovering position. : ) Tadeo Carvalho.

Longer landing g would be better

no habia un camara peor..

You just need to add 2 servo and two "ailerons" at the end of the wing ... that's it ...

@Erbalite Yes, I am sure a tail would really help too! Yes, looking at pics of the Osprey, I agree, I think that is the opposite of what I said - I don't understand why it would be the opposite of what you would set up on a normal twin to help roll stability... Must be some reason on the real Osprey of course, but I still wonder if at this scale you might be better off the other way round...
I look forward to seeing your progress :-)
I see 2 problems: -front prop must counter rotate to avoid it from rolling to the right. -the wing is located too far behind. The center of gravity and center of lift must be closer to prevent the nose to drop (tilting the front motors moves the c.o.g. forward)

@gloutch all of this is known and accounted for. have you ever built anything close to a tri-rotor?

Keep up the good work. Seams like the landing gear need to be a little wider is all.

@plorks445 Thats funny because the landing gear don't get used anymore for the new model, V.3.b !!! fresh from the scratch build section of the pterodactyl squadron's research department division of Erbalite Air. Stay tuned for the next video unavailing the beast!
also I like the TDD (Tri-Dual-Duino) subscribed!

i just love seeing how much more progress your making. also, how cool is it that other brains are helping you out with their advice to get your VTOL successfully transitioning into that elusive forward flight.

@wildhover Thanks for watching! I know what you 're saying, it's great to have very knowledgeable people interested in this project. I'm happy to just be a part of YouTube and also to give even a small part to the advancement of aviation would be the biggest thing in my little life.
