This is a film i did for my Intro to video final. It is an homage to the 1970's and 80's slasher flicks, specifically in this case the Friday the 13th series. Enjoy.

Sequel coming soon!

  • this really capture the look you were going for! Awesome

  • Thanks i tried to give it that old VHS copy of Texas Chainsaw look haha. Thank you for the comment and checking us out.

  • nice looking vid. im working with vegas but im trying to get away with not using Magis Bullet. ive rendered a few bits and theyre ok. i shot HD with a Sony HDR EX1 if i remember rightly. whos the chick by the way? actress? or family? shes alright. keep it up.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, i'd love to use anything but Premiere, but alas this is what i have access to. I shoot on a XL2, i'm hoping to get either a Sony HD camera or a Panasonic HVX200 soon. The chick is actually my girlfriend, and i think she did a pretty good job considering i sprung this on her a week prior. Again thanks for the comments!

  • What camera did you use? It does look like film. Good job.

  • btw thanks for the feedback.

  • that looks great.. better than many HD Movies on YouTube, and thats no joke!

    good work dude!

  • I think look was you were going for was good. It does seem like snuff-horror film from the 70s 0r 08s, but. I must say, if it's goning to be a homage to them, you should have at least had the lady scream and trip. Just imo. Ha, and also, the ending made me really lol. XD

  • Yeah thats exactly what I thought of when I was watching it. I'm working on a film and I want it to have the look of a 70's action movie. I got all kinds of real nice film look filters.

  • very funny and awesome

  • HAHAHAHAHA..........That was Awsome.....

  • What you can also do is, put on a 35mm photo lens and a pro mist filter(or another soft filter, and adjust the gamma. But hey, this look

    neat!!!
