speed of sound is not the same at all altitudes or temperatures. The plane probably has a large tail wind hence its very fast ground speed. Its TAS would have been 280-320knots i should imagine?

@MrRevolution53 It might be possible that the aircraft had a moderate tailwind which caused it to travel at that ground speed.
