I don't believe there was a "real" West v Communist entanglement. LBJ and many other people (including CIA) assumed it was a showdown (it seemed they painted everything as a communist showdown). It didn't have to be (nor was it even the case).

With the knowledge that both agencies had, they could have prevented the assassination. They both failed miserably. The opportunity was there. He was a pro-Marxist with the motive to make a statement that would blow the lid off of foreign policy. Greed and fear dictated that the spy community and domestic law enforcement contain this explosive situation immediately. That, my dear friend, was the cover-up.

@bobzeda Bob . . . Much was, and still is being covered. The FBI and Central Intelligence had their fingerprints all over this guy. Exactly what happened is this: They nearly shit their pants when this fuck-up assassinated the President. The most sensitive files on Oswald are either locked down to this very day, or they have been destroyed entirely. No government agency could have survived had their knowledge of him before Dallas been made public. These guys shit their pants. Literally.

ALL the witnesses add up to something.And I don't think it adds up to single shooter.I never use conspiracy.I do understand the necessity to make Oswald the single shoot.I really do. We've done this even in small scandals where I work.We are audited frequently and they cover up ALOT.And oddly, all the business people including secretaries go along with it.If this can happen at a small scale with me--What happens on an international stage?With nuclear war as an outcome?

Maybe this dingbat mistook the brains for a dog. She is an atrocious witness, and this is the most lackluster performance that I have ever seen by James Earl Jones.

Agent Hill said a large section of brain was sitting next to the president when he picked himself up off Jackie and the president. Do you think civilian people would be in shock or experience post traumatic SS after witnessing a murder at such close range? Miss Hill was VERY close during the shots to Kennedy.

The first interviews were innocent enough, but incredible, however; she has changed her story so many times over the years it is past incredible.
