Shiny Bean Ft T-Mac "Take Me Away (House Mix)"

Shiny is about to cause a stir with the release of his debut single Take Me Away, featuring the vocal talents of experienced music pro T-Mac.
Shiny and T-Mac met in Bow, London, and Take Me Away profiles their talents as they attempt to reach out and invigorate the charts with their fresh sound, incorporating elements of House music, R&B and good old-fashioned pop hooks.
Says multi instrumentalist, Shiny, "We've each worked with some big name acts over the years and now is our time to put something out that reflects our own passions and style." he adds, "I come from more of a classical background, while T-Mac's influences are from the soul and pop side -- it's an interesting mix and the miracle is that with Take Me Away we've discovered a musical language that works for us both."
Take Me Away is written about the tumult and pain of a relationship break up, and the high-energy track fizzles and pops with tension-building guitar hooks and a vocal aching with longing, chopped into a mix of euphoric strings.
In creating the single Shiny and T-Mac leaned on the experience they gained working with musicians such as Artful Dodger, Lemar, Damon Albarn and Il Divo. While in the past T-Mac has earned his chops on backing vocals and Shiny is better known for his soundtrack and classical and folk work, Take Me Away puts their pop talents and experience right to the fore.
It's a marriage of musical influences made in heaven, even if the duo are an unlikely pairing. Shiny was born and raised on the south coast, while T-Mac hails from Scotland. Says T-Mac "we could only have met in London really, and perhaps especially Bow, which has so much musical diversity happening at the moment."
