This is an emotional piece about the last days of my good friend...

sorry, but youTube muted audio for this bit. I understand the copyrights and stuff, but it's a shame they're doing it. I suggest never comment the audio on your videos as youtube checks the copyrights the second you do that.

  • i didnt like the styling of old mercs.. but i love them as cars :( sorry to see such a nice car with perfect interior style to go away from life :( didnt u try and restore it?

  • @ministryofp4in well, at that point there was so many cars like that around that it would have been financially unwise to restore it.

But it was a good car and I do like the design of w123 bodies.

  • i see it was stolen, but how did the rear axle bend like that? im sorry for your loss! ill hold tight on my -83 240D!

  • @coolakiIlen007 Front brake tube broke and breaks stopped working stopped working so you could only break with rear wheels. This was too much pressure on the rear axle. I'm guessing the stuff was a bit rusty down there as well.

  • yeah. I believe 123W E classes are the most reliable cars ever built.

  • hello

tell me please, what is the song play in clip?

  • Porcelain - Red Hot Chilly Peppers. Please don't sue me ;)

  • It not a car, it's a Mercedes.

  • Adorable automobile! Mercedes Benz cars last forever. A real shame yours had to leave life. But it happens.

RIP, remarkable piece of human engineering.

  • @pimmetje97 de står "est" på bakluckan så de e estland.

  • My first car was a 123220. Was a rusted one, had been in a few scrapes. It loved gas, and I was about the only one that could hit the gears right on it.. Still loved that car. Pity rust is a problem on them.

Somehow, I think that if they made a new round of those.. I'd not be the only one standing in line.
