This Loco was mainly used in the Selztal region in Styria, Austria.
The Roco model has an inbuild sound decoder and is suitable for Märklin 3 rail.
I've converted the loco to DCC by removing the pick up shoe and connecting the Pantographs with electrical current (not installed from factory).
The loco's sound is fantastic and I wish some of the others loco had the same volume of sound.
The loco has 4 Rubbertyres and is powered via 3 axles (AC version).
Since I'm using the Loco current via the catanary Iwill get spareparts for the bottom plate bogie and convert it back to 4 axles being powered.
Eventually there will be a 4 pin Fleischmann electrical coupling to join up with the passenger carriages and this will enable me to have interior lights in the carraiges via the loco decoder.
I'm waiting for conformation if the Loksound decoder is available separately otherwise I'll get another one of these and buy a separate housing with a different loco number.
Danke für das Kompliment,
die Lok ist 325g schwer, hat 4 Haftreifen und 3 angetriebene Achsen.
