  • Best version of this song I've heard yet! Kind of a Willy Nelson meets Bruce Cockburn thing. Absolutely perfect, period.

  • @mercmanfiveoh His version of Dylan's With God on our Side is absolutely stunning.

It's here.I saw him perform it maybe half a dozen times. He was a friend of my uncles.

  • Worth hearing twice just to log in and say thanks.I was fortunate enough to see Isaac several times. One of the most incredible accoustic performers ever imho. He'd play and sing a different arrangement every single time.A real Unsung hero !!

Respect and thanks for sharing :)

  • Wonderful performance! One of the best versions I've ever heard! Thanks for posting...!

  • such a grace in singing it too.

i remember his first album i got in the 70`s..

i knew then, he would make his way in

if only he was left more time in this world, to blow all the other acoustic guitar players..

    what a feeling!?

  • what a great performer.

    a big loss!!

thanks for keeping his music alive

  • what a great performer.

    a big loss!!

  • Great to see him play again thanks for sharing this. People rarely mention the quality of his singing which is effortless and beautifully phrased in any register he chooses.

I don't think anyone has ever done guitar and voice better, with such inventiveness and variety of colour and texture. Great stuff!

  • Takamine guitar.
