  • Manchester United owe this man a lot.

  • If it wasn't for him, United may not have been what they are today cos Fergie would have been sacked. It was deffinately a turning point in United's rich history!

  • @barnsley123456 Be quiet and stop embarrassing other Barnsley fans like myself

  • he was the reason why a started supporting fc copenhagen. he had a brief loan spell there

  • @barnsley123456 How old are you?

  • @deanie557 Martin Edwards has said that the board would have reviewed his position had they gone out of the FA Cup early on. I think he would have been given one more year to win (or at least challenge for) something if Clough's Forest had beaten them in the 3rd round, but it would have been his last chance. By the time of the Oldham semi though, the calls for his head were only a memory.

  • Robins is a top bloke, if we'd not let him go to Barnsley we'd have won the league easily this season.

He spent ten years with the Millers and he's a LEGEND as far as I'm concerned. Let's see how long you can keep him.

He'll be a Premiership manager within 5 years. It might even be with Barnsley if your chairman backs him!!

  • @deanie557 it did keep him his job, he admitted it when barnsley played man utd like 5 months ago..

  • I hate to tell you all this, but you're ALL wrong!!! This goal didn't keep Sir Alex in his job at all, & I know you're all gonna say it did, but it didn't! There was a special programme on MUTV all about this & Sir Alex & they asked the people who were involved at the time, including Sir Bobby Charlton & they said that's what everyone thought, but, (and I quote) "Sir Alex was NEVER in any danger of loosing his job. That was just the rumour created by the press!"

    It's all a misconception!
