While I see people arguing between Joan and Linda's version, the original and still the best is the 1963 Martha Reeves & the Vandellas recording. Both remakes are very good, though.

@ShipwreckTownBand The drummer was Richard 'Pistol' Allen. He died less than 6 months after this performance was filmed. Nice to know he still had that groove going on right up until the end.

Buy this DVD, you will never regret it! This is one of the very best music documentaries ever and the Motown tributes by the excellent assembly of vocalists, who perform with the Funk Brothers are as good as it gets. The passing of the Motown era is an event which we have never gotten over.

@LesbianVampireLover -- actually I bought 6 copies of this DVD to give to my brothers and sister... They all loved it. Motown was very much a part of our lives growing up. We all just loved the music.
