Fender Stratocaster HSS

2008 MIM body in Electron Blue with a 1997 MIM maple neck. Just putting it thru its paces
Kinda rusty since I mostly play the bass nowadays. No effects since my effects board is currently residing at church. Sorry for the lighting in these latest videos its overcast outside...the humbucker in the bridge is a nice touch . I will have to make another video with distortion

HEY i was thinking of getting this i saw it at a pawn shop except in white and was wondering does this give the sound like all strats and hows that humbucker at the bottom near the bridge i dont know what its called and would this give the john mayer sound because thats what im lookinng for.

@KIDLATglp It sounds like any other standard stratocaster. The humbucker at the bridge adds a tad bit of meat but nowhere near close to something like a Les Paul so it still retains a Fender vibe. If anything you can always replace the pickups with what John uses.

and for the volumes I use it works fine. I would be more concerned about a bass being played through a guitar amp. For the most part I use headphones
