I don't see why they had to make Kendra blonde. The Kendra in my production was a brunette while Lucy was blonde. We wanted to break the "dumb blonde" stereotype, and we did because Lucy is really smart.

why does kendra need to be blonde? for what it's worth, i don't think she needed to dye her hair. it doesn't matter what color kendra's hair is.
