  • Was this from Sesame Street or The Electric Company?

  • @sbagg88 It was included in the very first episode of The Electric Company that was broadcast, but I also seem to recall also seeing it on Sesame Street. Both shows were produced by CTW, so the cross-pollination wouldn't surprise me.

  • The music is "Scenes from the Twenties (A)" from the Chappell music library. It was composed by Sam Fonteyn (who also wrote the music that Family Guy uses when Vern says "Play me off, Johnny!")

  • @TServo2049 Thank you so much! You've answered a question many have had.

  • I can't believe I found this. I was knocking on the bathroom door other day at work, the boss said in a squueky voice, who is it? I blurted out, It's the plumber, I've come to fix the sink. I'm not sure he fgot it, but you guys did lol. Awsome.

  • @badalice07 Epic WIN!

  • this must be an old joke from around that time[1920s-30s]

  • Continuity blooper throughout this one. Inside the house, the area to the right of the door is much wider than the area to the left of the door outside.

  • Heart attacks are funny!!

  • I remember seeing this in Mrs. Ballards second grade class and thinking that this was kind of mean spirited.

  • What a great thing to train a bird to do! This needs to appear in a list of the best ways to annoy people.

  • I always loved the dark humor behind this skit. Even at the age of eight. I imagine the PC police would be all over this today. Ah, the innocence of the seventies!

  • R.I.P Plumber.

  • LOL death by annoying parrot.

  • Did the plumber commit suicide at the end of this? Because that's what it looked like to me!

  • @sbagg88 happy to say same production Team
