When liberals talk about 'cuts' they're talking about cuts to *already assumed increases in* spending above current levels. They're not cuts; they're 'sacrifices' to how much they really want to increase spending this go around. Liberals are deceivers.

@milliondollarlilly - Half the problem with our country is that a sizeable percent of it is on the public dole. And it's playing economic slavery with the underclass who by and large completely ignorant of how they are being bought off and wouldn't care if they did. They are told to vote for people who fund organizations that go in and commit genocide on them while being told it's for their own good. Liberals with their economic shackles and genocide tools are the biggest enemy of te poor.

Finally! A Senator who stands up and calls it a lie! Politicians are the only people who can spend more than they did last year, look you in the face, and tell you that they cut their spending. If a merchant did this, he'd be charged with false advertising. If the merchant did it to every citizen year after year, he'd be in prison.

@milliondollarlilly - Really? What sacrifices do the poor make when it comes to paying taxes? Since on avg, the goods/services they receive are 27X those who aren't poor, they receive 12X the money back that they will ever put in to all taxes combined, and they don't pay a dollar in federal income tax? Is that the sacrifice you are talking about? That info direct from the GAO analysis, filed under the FOIA. Have the intelligence to not just vomit up the pabulum that the spoonfed to you.

how come it is always medicare and the poor and or diabled, seniors that have to adjust their standard of living?  All the subsidies given to oil companies and the fortune 5 could put us back in the black. Tax the rich and the Senate and Congress should pay their fair share..since they will never need medicare, ss, or any other benefits like the rest of us poor schmucks.
