From a nursing assistant (NA) since 17, to a California License Vocational Nurse (LVN) since 19, to a California Registered Nurse since 23, to a future open heart surgeon, to having my operating arm chewed, maimed, and mauled for over 1 minute and 30 seconds while still wearing my safety-belt, beat, hog tied, tased multiple times, kicked in the head and lost consciousness, taken to jail without reading my rights and denied the use of the phone. My loved ones reporting me missing was how I was found (two weeks in hell) two weeks later, then an insurmountable bail of $50,000 was set, (the Officer that killed Kelly Thomas was released on a $25,000 bail, in the same Orange County a couple months later) This is not the America I was taught to Love.

However, I always questioned AWPSP (Award winning protect and serve performance). For those that do not know what AWPSP is; please allow me to explain. AWPSP is when an Officer detains a person of color on the street, for any reason; then the performance begins. Depending on how many hours they have left on the clock; they will detain us for some times hours, just for all the community to see, to reinforce stereotypes, racism, and pretend they are actually here to protect "US" from people of color, then if your fortunate your released with certainty, that they are not here to protect and serve us. Only to be frowned upon by those that are actually being protected and served; later to be disbelieved, and belittled by those that are actually being protected and served; because they can not fathom the aforementioned...or chose not to.

Additionally, I always questioned why Billions of more dollars are invested into prisons and holice instead of schools and teachers; while teachers are being laid off and forced to work-less. I always questioned how they expected to fill these new prisons; then on this day of 3-9/11 my questions were answered.

As far as I can see from the video. Was really no need for the Dog being used to attack this man. He was stopped, the Police saw to that. So why the Dog he wasn't going anywhere. If not, EYE hope the officer named K-9 is ordered to take the stand and explain why he or she felt the desire or need to attack you or alert on you? Refer to the dog as a poliice officer and not dog, ok and use the sixth amendment, if you haven't. The police officer named K-9 ALSO NEEDS TO TESTIFY TO WHY HE OR SHE BELIEVED YOUR CAR WAS STOLEN? Don't take this as silliness, because a case similar to yours was dismissed.

Unbelievable! I train protection dogs and this was a gross injustice to the victim of the attack. The suspect should have been asked to vacate the vehicle BEFORE the dog was used!
