this is my performance. i think most of the comments disregarded the introduction of the monologue: "this is a woman's story AS SHE TOLD IT." if parts of it(the parts about underage lesbian experimentation especially, because that sparked the most heated reaction) come off as positive or empowering, it's because THE WOMAN WHO WAS INTERVIEWED viewed them that way. VM isn't supposed to be pretty or pc. it's supposed to address real issues. some people can't stomach that. what a shame.

So lets get this straight - the best way to fight abuse and violence against women is to go and see a play which completely endorses the rape of a 13 year old child by a lesbian paedophile?
A play which states that this rape of a child was in fact "a good rape" whereas any sex experiences in the play involving men (whether consensual or not) are of course totally wrong/evil.

I've never seen a more obvious case and point example of a lesbian recruitment scenario and agenda in my entire fucking life. It works the same way with boys who get molested by female babysitters or their older sisters (ITS THE MOST UNDERREPORTED UNDERRATED CRIME.
