This is Mystery Mark presenting his 'Reveal Sandwitches Magic Contest'.

It took over 10 months but we truly love to congratulate BCardician! He didn't guess the exact handlings, but none of the hundreds of guesses got this close to the original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3zgcDN8aSw

  • Could we have the answer ? :D I'm so sad to have been so close but didnt find it :p

Because if BCardician won it, i can't see his answer :(

  • @Canardodo BCardician chose to do a performance video which was a valid submission, so all you could do is blaming him for not making any public video or submission including exposure.

It's similar to the majority who sent an e-mail in order to keep the exposure private and who wouldn't want to expose something publically. I hope you understand that we respect those decisions.

  • still remains the competition? i know..

  • @gustcevallos

Feel free to give it a try. You might be the very last contestant though.

  • @Canardodo

Oops! Sorry! I was pretty sure I sent a reply already.

Anyhow, that was one amazing try, but no. Sorry. But indeed, you are not that far away at all!

    @CtheAmazing17

Sorry, but you missed a lot.

  • It's completely clean so there are no special cards or duplicates used, sorry. I appreciate the try though.

  • @MarkHilkemeijer Sure. I'll just keep seeking then. :D

  • easy trick. you force the card, then its another one at the bottom you palm it, and thats all

  • i cant put in the method in 500 characters so mailing it to u

  • The reason I think it's like that is that when you show the cards from the back, we can see the back of the random card (so it looks like the back of the Q of clubs). Between the Q of clubs and the random card which are both face up, there is the J of hearts, which is face down. Hope it's close :)

  • One explanation is, of course, that you do "The Flash" with the J of hearts, but that's highly unplausible :P

So I'll just tell you my view on the trick:

It's almost as Canardodo said - there are indeed 4 cards in your hand (2xQ, 1xJ and 1 random). When you do the shaking motion, the J is in between the Q of clubs and the random card and slips out when you loosen the grip on the 3 cards. So the Q of clubs and the random card stick together and it looks like it's 1 card. Am I at least close?:D
