well ive gone thru dat experience too, and i usually try to keep the friendship, but it becomes hard, and so i sometimes distance myself for a while till i can get over them. Maybe wait till yu find someone yu can be happy with. and then maybe see if yu can have a friendship again.

well if they ask that, they probably really like yu & have been waiting to see if yu like em too. But if yu dont like them back, in the nicest way possible, be honest.

i know what you mean when you ask, "what are we?" and then the other person just gives you a hanging answer. or gives you an answer that leaves you unsatisfied. so yup i feel ya on that.

Yeah, what DO you do? You think things are going great then they spring that dreaded "friend" thing on you. Hmmm.
I think all you can do is take the relationship as far as it's going to go. If you truly care for someone, you won't try to force anything on them and accept whatever time you can enjoy with them. Even if it's on a friendship tip and you want more.
Don't dictate, COLLABORATE. :)
