But when discourse slides into distorted antiCanadianism it is no longer anything but that - virulent antiCanadianism. Bilateral MissouriCanada trade is over 8 billion dollars a year. What the hell difference does it make to you where he gets his health care? He paid for it Himself and He chose to go there, he could have gotten it in Canada but chose to get it in the states. First off Vets, he's the Premier of Newfoundland, one of the smallest provinces, not Canada. Newfoundland has a populaton of 500,000 and does not have every high tech surgery available there. He could have had the procedure done in many other center across the country, by surgeons who pioneered the procedure, but chose to go to Florida where he owns a condo. Nice place to recover for 12 weeks in February & March. Its a non-story.
