  • I think it's called Capitalism. (Europe has only just emerged with a standard for mobile phone charger current/voltage to save waste.) Car makers see battery as a major component of the car and want to control it. Understandably, given the rate of change in this technology.

    Interesting that Apple just locked there batteries into their laptops to get a better profile as few ever change them.

  • Flat surface can load different battery profiles. Very smart.

  • Yeah, Tesla Motors has speakers in their cars. It will simulate rev noises. This should alert people.

    Cartones will help the blind.
