Installed a Stebel Compact Truck Horn on a M109R. Replaced a Nautilus horn for a bit of a change.

  • Thanks. What I did was compare the two horns. The first one was the Stebel Nautilus and the second was the Stebel Compact Truck horn. Though the truck horn had a lower tone, the nautilus was louder out on the street. I think its due to the current draw because it sounded much louder in my truck, when I installed it there. For motorcycles, I prefer the Nautilus.

  • Thanks. I only did a quick search at work (which has one of the worst internet connection), but i keep coming up with the same item when i searched for "Stebel compact truck horn" and "Stebel Nautilus". I thought there might have been a 2 tone settings on it.

The Nautilus is loud, but i like the lower tone of the truck horn.

Thanks again for the info and ride safe.

  • Hey, i have always wanted to get a truck horn onto my bike and in searching i came across this video. Did you use two different horns? Because the tone of the second demonstration is basically exactly what I am looking for.

Also, I keep seeing the M109R bikes around, but have never managed to find out what they are called until i saw your video. So in advanced, thanks twice :)

  • WTF. Roar hear me now. Nice one dude.
