@narchx no pedals really. just a line 6 spider 3 15 watt amp. with my own personal eq obviously.

what do you think is better this guitar or the ec 1000?

@supertrollinyourface it all really depends on the body style you like because there both similar in sound depending on the pickup configuration. the viper is a little heavier but other than thats its all preference.

@supertrollinyourface EC has emg 60 in the neck which makes the guitar sound more versatile, but viper is a lot more comfortable on the higher frets because it has a double cut-away. I don't find LP single cut-away comfortable but you may like it. Try both of them or even try les paul and sg. I like LP's look better but SG is more comfortable for me.

@truedimebagdarrell very true, but when it comes down to it, its all about prefrence. personally i love the emg 85. its still a nice warm pickup for those nice solos. and i agree the viper is very comfortable due to the double cutaway, plus i was never a fan of the lp shaped guitars. this guitar is no doubt a metal machine.
