2011 Oct 9 Railroad Museum of PA Open House

Mark Oles layout, one of ten on the tour in the Lancaster, Pa area. This layout was completely redesign this year. Several of us G-Scalers gathered at Marks with some of our rolling stock to demonstrate the joys of model railroading. Mark estimates that approximately 400 people attended.

ok im laying my first track in spring the out door g scale is a hole new world to me im looking to meet people in my area to meet up with and do this with you know the old saying little gidence goes a long way. im going to have 150 ft in curv 10' bends and 200ft in stright im from white oak pa and there is nothing here for this and to most people this is crazey but i love the layout and sweet steamers looking forword to hearing from you

So you are near Pittsburg. I suggest you attend the G-scale show in York PA March 25 & 26, 2012. You will see layouts, stuf fto buy and they hold clinics on various subjects. You can learn alot from the following forums: Aristocraft and Mylargescale.

Nice exhibit ,you had a lot to offer as far as entertainment.just hoped it inspired a nother modeler to get into the Garden RR.The wife liked the pumkin train

Every year we participate we answer alot questions about G-scale. Can not help to think that we have inspired a few individuals but aleast we made many prople aware...................Jim

@ Peter from Berlin: We're not part of the museum, but a private residence. The museum is across the road from the Strasburg Railroad, an operating steam powered railroad.

Top,das Du uns dieses Video eingestellt hast .Endlich mal ein Museum mit der Modellbahn wo auch etwas fährt.Bei den meisten Museum`s kann man sich das alles nur anschauen ohne das sich etwas bewegt.
