Hey guys, this video today is dedicated for Kat, known as NekoKitKat(2525). She has been such a kind, inspiring friend who makes FABULOUS amvs; in fact, shes the one who has gotten me into this wonderful anime, Munto, in the first place (because of one of her amvs)!
This is my favorite song from Angels of Venice. I find the haunting melody perfect with the first OVA and for Munto. I find it kinda funny that Munto has the entire choir singing when he crashes in. XD Lols. He just has a big head like that (and would probably love it. Lols.)
Now, if you guys haven't seen this anime.... well then you practically have the whole first movie in summary form here in this amv Yay! Hopefully it'll inspire you to watch the series! =D
Okay big thanks to wikipidia and my lame summary!: Thirteen-year-old Yumemi has the ability of second site. She is a physic that is able to see the unseen; she is able to see floating islands in the sky and who just wants to be normal girl. Her whole world is turned upside down when the Magical king, Munto-sama, arrives in her world asking for her power. However, because of the barrier of space-time (of the two worlds), he is unable to touch her. (Awkward...! XD) Confused and scared, Yumemi is thrusted out of the connection.
Munto's world, the world of the Heavens, is lacking the magical life giving source, Akuto. He seeks out any hope for their befalling kingdom and finds Yumemi, a small light in the darkened underworld. While he is thinking of how to draw out the girl's power once again, he thinks of his past, how his own parents gave up their lives for the Akuto, in order for him to live. The United Army, run by the Elders of the Seven Nations, cast the king and his people out, thinking that his kingdom was wasting the precious Akuto with their magical abilities. His mother's apprentice and the Seer, Ryueri, even gives up her eye site for their kingdom's hope.
The magical king, once again goes to the other world and tries to get the power from Yumemi, unknown to him that the United Army is planning an attack. His heart softens slightly, knowing now that the girl truly has no idea what is going on, that she is confused and scared. He encourages her to follow her heart and believe in her power. However, their connection is broken once again because of the Warrior.
Munto battles and destroys the Warrior, however, he is weakened in the end. He sees that he has ran out of time, that his kingdom, the Magical island, is falling, along with the other nations. He knows that once the two crash, it'll destroy both worlds. Yumemi was late. After encouraging her friends, Suzume and Kaziya, the girl sees that her island is very close to plummeting to the Earth. She realizes then that it's her responsibility, that she wants to protect everyone.
Running for her life, and for everyone of the two worlds, Yumemi remembers her past, how she always had seen the floating islands and tried to show her friends of what she saw through her eyes. However, neither could as hard as they tried, and Yumemi, then on, started to doubt herself, always carrying her pink umbrella to avoid her hope. She always thought there was something wrong with her. However, she now knows her purpose, the reason why she has always had her visions It was her fate as the Girl of Destiny to save the Magical Kingdom and her world.
Finally reaching her destination, to Munto, she sees that her time is really dwindling. However, as said by her friend, Suzume: as long as she has courage, there is always room for another future. She believes in her power and ability Yumemi struggles to cross space-time as she tells Munto that there is still hope. Then, finally, for just a brief moment, almost like a chaise kiss, the two worlds merge with the brush of their fingertips, sending a huge wave of Akuto to both worlds. Both are saved.
In the end, all is restored: Ryurei gets her site once again, and Munto safely returns to his re-established kingdom. For Yumemi, too, is doing well. She believes in her ability and no longer doubts her site and the floating islands above.

This is a great video, expertly done. The song was incredibly soothing, and helped establish the tone of the overall Munto OVA nicely. Keep up the wonderful work, alright?
