Jen, please don't tell me you fell for any of it. I couldn't work out if you are very gullible or wisely doubtful of this cult. I think you answered your doubts when you mentioned these people tell some simple truths and then charge you for the pleasure. (Oh, watch out, after the simple truths come the wacko sci-fi stories and the evil practices of intolerance and disconnection - all at a price, of course). All of their stories (celebrity etc) today were boloney, don't fall for it, please.

Lady, if a Scientologist tells you "the sky is blue," run to the window and expect orange. Their slogan, which they repeat about 5 times in their main recruitment film (posted elsewhere on YouTube), is "What's true is true for you." No kidding.

(The host of it was a Scientologist, but has since quit. Now they have to do the movie over again. They wanted to sue the actor for the expense. Search "Scientology orientation video". 4 parts.)

I lol'd@dictionaries cure ADHD. I like your description, you have a good memory. The Church of Exclusivity would be more honest if they were to ever change the name. The early parts of Scientology make sense, but as you get higher up, it gets weirder until you get to Xenu and the wall of fire. A great deal of upper level Scientologists either lose their minds or commit suicide. Scientology does kill.

OMG. I have a hard time listening to this. I think I know whom yoiu spoke to. Eric? He's a sweetheart but so used. They are nuts to think Psychiatry is out to get them. I believe it for years and thankfully am out. I feel for all those stuck inside with all that crazy "false data". The Purif is dangerous for the liver. I could go on and on. Poor things.
