Finaly a fine day to do some testing. Had to add 5kg to the left skid and almost full left stick to stop the drift. Looks like back to the drawing board. First time hover though! Ye HA! I think the simulator has helped no end.

  • any updates to this? id love to see more!

  • @warmfreeze No sorry. Work has got in the way of living at the moment, but I'm soon to fix that. There are a few mods that need testing and I need a distraction free weekend with good weather. Cheers.

  • That is awesome my friend. Your kid is lucky to have you to look up to. not many kids out there could say my dad is bloody brilliant he made and flown a helicopter. He has a real cool person to look up to. would love to see more of this.

  • @navydragon31 Wow! Thanks for that. You've just put a huge smile on my face. Hard to beat a compliment like that! Cheers Cam.

  • @MrJinCamty G'day again... Ah, I see that I wasn't the only one to spot the need for a Test-Flying Helmet..! Fine, good boy. But, why hop around at the limits of Control in a Paddock that had a Pole, BETWEEN You & the Camera...? My kids saw me crash, on T/O... This game has BIG Penalties... Pick a better spot, or next time your son could be lending his film to the Coroner. Ask @xjet to Fly there ? And, seriously consider Dual Time, learning Eggbeaters. You've had the Peaks !

  • So glad I found this video. Your son is very proud of your eoffort and courage! The helicopter looks like a nice design. Likes to turn to the right a bit, though. How did you end up correcting that? Was that the 5Kg?

Hope you post more and safe flyiing!

  • awsome!!!! more videos please!!!!! (:

  • whaw verry nice .....
