Colt is the man, he's gonna do great in the NFL. He's bulked up and his passes are pin-point accurate...future all-star!

Oh....as a Fresno fan....I've seen this guy a few times....NO OTHER QB EVER TO PLAY against the Dogs lit-it-up like Colt....AND I MEAN no team...not K-State, Oregon, Oregon State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, LSU, Boise, UCLA, USC, G TECH, Washington, Oklahoma, anywhere we played...and we played some teams....NONE BETTER THAN COLT AS A QB! GLAD HE IS IN THE NFL!

@isaywhatisayhateme Oh yeah cause all QBs that play against WAC teams throw for a billion touchdowns and complete 100% of their passes...................PLEAS
E just shut up. You have no idea how to evaluate QBs, so don't make like you know what you're talking about. -
he will be out of the league in 2010....
-
Anyone could be that accurate in the WAC. When you have all the time in the world to pass the ball. nothing impressive. He sure was accurate in the Sugar Bowl.

@joltinjoe90 the only talent colt has is warming the bench
-
@suicidesponger yeah colt brennan is doing great right now! LOL!

Talent comes from all different places. It is more common for great players to come from the SEC, PAC 10, etc, but a lot of successful NFL players come from smaller conferences. I watch a lot of college football, and Colt is the best I've ever seen. As far as the Redskins situation, Colt is currently 3rd string. If he can beat out Rex Grossman for the backup job (which should be possible) then he'll be set up to possibly start some games this year or whenever McNabb leaves.
-
You know what your problem is, you're judging the conference instead of the player. First off, Colt was playing against the WAC with WAC talent. Davone Bess was the only other player on his team with NFL talent, and he went undrafted. Colt's 2006 season wasn't just good, it was the most dominating passing season in the history of college football. TONY ROMO AND KURT WARNER PLAYED IN DIVISION 1AA FOR GOD'S SAKE. Ben Roethlisburger and Steve Young came from the MAC and WAC.

@joltinjoe90 The other thing I don't get is if he's got such a great release, great accuracy blah blah, how do the redskins aquire two more QB's and he goes to fourth string on the bench. That doesn't sound like a guy that's done anything in the off or pre season to show he is the "hero" QB he was in hawaii. THat looks like a guy who got exposed for what he is, good against bad teams.
-
@joltinjoe90 Like I said, he doesn't play well against real comp. Everyone wants to use his O-line as a problem when he played Georgia say they weren't good and they are the reason he threw so bad in that game. Yet when he plays nobody teams nothing is said about the O-line. People need to realize while he's a good QB, he's not as good as all the records indicate. HE PLAYED IN THE WAC FOR GOD's SAKE. It's not hatin it's looking at his career with both eyes open.

The point is, sometimes you have to have patience. A lot of great QBs got drafted in the late rounds and had to wait for that one opportunity. I'm not a Hawaii fan, but I've never seen a more accurate QB than Colt. Plus he has that lightning quick release and the intangible instincts. His arm isn't too bad either. At 1:27 he throws a 55 yard dime. You can hate all you want, but I wouldn't bet against him.
